IQN Path: working with the next generation

With specific projects arising within IQN Path from time to time we aim to offer opportunities to young, enthusiastic individuals interested in quality matters in diagnostics participate in projects as an “IQN Path interns”.

This may be helping to coordinate and write international guidelines, publications or standards and gain expertise and experience in an international setting. Projects are conducted and coordinated virtually via teleconferencing, email and may involve the occasional in person meeting.

What you can expect:
• Interaction with international experts
• Access to IQN Path materials and facilities to assist with the project implementation
• Support from IQN head office
• Affiliation with an expert group

Eligibility:
Individuals may only participate in one project at a time.
• Should have achieved or be completing a post-graduate qualification in a relevant discipline (pathology, molecular biology, etc.)
• Up to age 35
• Must be an IQN Path Affiliate (be an individual member of IQN Path)
• Good English language skills, particularity written English (NOTE: this role requires document writing in English)
• Selection for participation will be based on merit and the match between the needs of the project matched to the applicants experience
• Must be self- motivated and flexible, comfortable managing international groups
• Should have demonstrated experience in writing manuscripts and publications.
