IQN Path / EFPIA aim to raise awareness about biomarker testing in Europe and develop policy recommendations to improve access and quality

The project, launched in November 2019, was carried out throughout 2020, sometimes slowing the
development, but steadily progressing, and will yield outstanding results that we are looking forward
to sharing with you toward the end of February.
The study was carefully devised and produced detailed results based on sound data collected from all
stakeholders. We are grateful to EFPIA and L.E.K., and all Corporate and Academic Members who have
devoted time, experience, expertise, resources and, all together, for having cooperated sharing a
clear vision.

Results were analysed and the policy recommendations are being drawn. Our mission will next be to
raise awareness about our policy recommendations which will take no less energy. A webinar for
experts at European Level is being planned as well as national roundtables and promotion through
various social media.
Support by ESP and ESMO in this process has been granted and, to be acknowledged, is the firm
support and expertise provided by ECPC, with its Past President and Team, in the entire process.
What would data be worth, without the personal experience of our patients and families?
In the coming months, our efforts will focus on campaigning for changes to happen in a timely and
consistent manner.

Your help in the dissemination will be essential, especially through your national networks. Please let
us know if you have any suggestions that can help us improving our plans.
